Pathfinder Coaching

“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”

Maya Angelou

Perhaps you need a fresh perspective and looking for someone to guide you through life’s changes.

Coaching is a opportunity to find unique, creative ways to approach life when going through transitions and changes. It is about empowering you to be the architect of your lives, businesses and career through tools, questions and support in a safe confidential space.

What is Coaching All About?

  • You are the expert in your own life. As a coach, I help to you reflect your own inner wisdom and help you find your own solutions.

  • It's focused on helping you discover your authentic power and rediscovering belief in yourself.

  • Coaching is goal-oriented and future-forward. I want to help you achieve your goals around career, business, or leadership.  Coaching focuses on what you want to achieve and how to get there, not focusing on problems in the past.

  • I’m an excellent listener and I use communication skills such as active listening, powerful questioning, reflecting, clarifying and more to help you gain new perspectives and find new approaches to your goals.

  • Coaching is collaborative, it's a partnership between you and me, we are both actively involved in the growth process.

I felt heard and validated and had a safe space to call out things that are on my mind.  Nedra is sincere and experienced at working with introverted women,  meeting them where they are, and providing them a safe place to be vulnerable. - Mary K.

I find that coaching can be extremely helpful as you go through pivots in your life.

Here's some examples of topics I can help with:

  • Pivoting in your business and how to create a new service or product

  • Balancing running a business with other aspects of life

  • Guidance during career transitions such as a new industry or seeking a promotion

  • Setting appropriate boundaries in life around business and career

  • Connecting with personal and professional support systems (finding mentors, etc)

  • How to find your ideal client for your business

  • How to delegate to help manage yourself and others

  • How to prioritize work projects and break down tasks to help with executive functioning

  • Hone and develop leadership and management skills

  • Transitioning from a business into a new career or transitioning into a new business

Nedra's intuitive questions really got me to think about my situation differently. She reads in-between the lines and helps you see things that you may have looked over. Her coaching is gentle, yet effective.

Nedra helped me recognize that I don't have to bite everything off all at once. She showed me that even the small steps can give me more information to make more refined decisions as I go. - Katie H.

Nedra's exposure to many small business owners allows her to have a wealth of knowledge to draw from and gives you a perspective many coaches do not have.

I find Nedra thoughtful, empathetic, supportive - Shannon D.

What makes me different

I have an interesting, unique background. I have worked at fortune 500 companies, start-ups, non-profits, and small businesses including a nail salon.  I have had a number of businesses including a custom dog bag and apparel business, a web design business, a marketing consulting business,  and managing an AirBnB.  In addition, I’ve organized, led and facilitated different types of communities such as multiple women’s networking groups, cohorts, mastermind groups, and a freelancer meetup.  I have created online courses,  and have taught classes at multiple universities on business and marketing.

One thing I LOVE is interacting and learning more about my client’s business and careers. Many times, when I was a web designer or marketing strategist, I would end up coaching my clients and going beyond what I was originally hired for. It struck me how much my clients were craving help and guidance through coaching. After spending time with me I realized, my clients felt safe to share what makes them unique and it allowed me to share ideas and possibilities they might not have see on their own.

Years ago, I realized I identified as a highly sensitive person (HSP) and at that time, I didn’t consider it the super power that I possess today.I also began to realize many of my clients had something in common. They were seeking someone that could relate with them and give them permission to be themselves. Many of the communities I have worked with identify as introverted, highly sensitive (HSP) and empathy driven. They want someone who could open their mind up to different possibilities. I'm here to provide coaching that meets those needs.
