What is the impact of video for a business owner these days?

-The impact of video for business owners is significant these days because it is often the greatest opportunity for a touchpoint with their community, especially as business has moved more online during the pandemic. A large portion of time people spend online is watching video and modern consumers expect to be able to interact with videos to learn information about companies.

WHY should a business invest in video and hire someone like you?

Businesses should invest in a video production company or marketing agency to have a more refined approach to their brand messaging. It is an extension of your business card and can be a main reason people may choose to do business with you or not. Much like having a good website, and having reviews, having a polished video gives you credibility and shows your customers that you're serious about the work that you do and that you are confident in the quality of your product or service. Your video should reflect that same level of quality.

-We've created video campaigns for the French American International School for their annual school fundraiser three years in a row. Since working with us, they've broken their own records for annual fundraising amounts times, and have far exceeded their goals each year. This has led to massive new funding opportunities for projects around their school and support for community members.

What is the impact of video for a business owner these days?

As a service-based business, especially as a coach or consultant you don’t have a product to show like a baker, or a dog-groomer, or a bike shop. You need to set yourself apart by gaining your potential client’s trust and establishing yourself as the “likeable” expert.

Video is the best tool to show off who you are. Who people will encounter when they get on a call with you (or meet you in person).  It’s a tool to show that you’re not some monster, but someone people actually would love to work with. Video creates a powerful emotional (subliminal) connection with the viewer and as such it's great in creating trust and showing off your expertise.

Study after study shows how video outperforms any other marketing tools, from blogs, to infographics, and even podcasts.

I also like to say, that video is the sales assistant that never sleeps. A video of you on your home page, or your social media feed can be that first connection that makes people pay attention to YOU and not your competition – especially if you are the one with video content and they are not!

WHY should a business invest in video and hire someone like you?

Our approach is quite unique in that we teach you “how to fish” (DIY video creation), rather than serve you a fish-dish (produce videos for you). Social media needs to be constantly fed with new content and that means you need to know how to create videos easily, inexpensively, and fast. It’s not time-, nor money-efficient to hire out to a video production company for so-called “tissue” videos (one-and-done social media video content).

With today’s smartphone in your back-pocket you have a full-on video studio at your disposal. We show you HOW to use it and make sure you focus on a sound video marketing strategy, and content that connects, engages, and converts your ideal clients, and not on setting up a huge production you don’t need.

What is the impact of video for a business owner these days?

These days, not having any video presence is a little like not having a website for your brand back in 2010. Video is the #1 medium for content these days as evidenced by 1 Billion people downloading TikTok which is an all video format. If you want to be experienced as an updated Brand, if you want to reach Gen Z and Millenials, if you want to convert traffic to sales, then simply put - you must be using video, and lots of it.

Video is successfully solving problems for businesses in multiple realms. Ten years ago, everyone started exploring putting a Brand video on their website. Nowadays, we are making videos to solve other problems e.g. Recruiting Videos to help attract qualified candidates to address staffing shortages; or Training Videos to help retain your employees.

We are currently working on a recruiting video series for a national consulting firm - they have more work than they can handle, and culture videos help this firm to draw talented candidates to their company.
